Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We have been to some of Tapas restaurants in Munich, but this one is always special in our heart. The food taste and choices are according to what we always look for in such restaurant. The service is also quite fast. My personal opinion is the taste is overall great but my highlight is the pork iberico and their bread. They bake their own bread, so fluffy but the outside is crunchy. The spices are utilized not overtly too much, so it suits to everyone's taste"
"First Spanish restaurant in Munich that I tried and it was spectacular! Food was so good and the presentation was on point! The paella was made to order so everything was fresh from the oven and the rice was soft. My favourite were the ones with bacon. Cheesecake was one of a kind. The other dishes were fantastic as well! Tasted similar (or better) than the ones I tried in Spain. Service was also great. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. Very pleased to dined here! Definitely recommend this place for the authentic Spanish food and service"
"We had an amazing dinner with delicious calamari, mashed potatoes, paella and churros! I asked the waiter to change €50, but the money came back missing. When I told her that my money was missing, it was very rude of them to say that they don't have any change money and gave back my €50. A waiter who decides for herself how much to tip (!), but did not realize that I wanted to change money to tip more Please teach your staff to not to act passive aggressive, it simply shades off the flavor of the food."
"It was our first night in Munich. We were tired and hungry. We came across LA Tasca by chance as the entrance was somewhat hidden and off the path. As soon as we entered, we felt the warmth of being with family and friends. We got a little carried away and ordered quite a few dishes to enjoy We really enjoyed the cozy Latin affair and friendly staff didn't mind us asking questions about the dishes. I say definitely check it out"
"Went here for dinner with friends and we shared many different tapas. Most of the dishes were pretty tasty, especially liked the garlic prawns and the croquettes. We were recommended a chicken breast tapa instead of another sold out dish so tried that but the meat was v dry so would recommend no chicken breast dishes. I wouldn't rly recommend as a tapas restaurant though as many of the options are actually v big (prices are higher too)."
"Very nice restaurant and delicious tapas options. This was second time for us and really enjoyed the time. The waiters were very friendly and happy to adjust food based on our preferences. We preferred different tapas and Sangria, and specific dessert which looks like cooked milk with lemon with vanilla ice cream. I recommend this dessert, quite original. Reservation is highly recommended."
"Amazing food and amazing service! I couldn't give any compliment more. The steak (from the tapas list, something called secret) is the best one I have ever tried. Strongly recommended"
"Dinner was nice, the waitress is kind and helpful. We ordered for paella without beef but there was some communication breakdown- served with beef. After feedback on the wrong order, she helped to cancelled the order from bill."
